Birthday Party Games
What's Missing?
Have a tray with a number of different objects (ie. five dollar bill,
toothbrush, stamps etc...). Have the participants study it for 30
seconds, then cover it up and remove one article. Rearrange the
objects, and show it to the participants again. The first person to guess
what is missing gets to organize the tray for the next time.
HaHaHa
This is a contagious laughing game. Player #1 lies on their back and
places their head on the belly of player #2 . Player #2 then
places Their head on the belly of player #3, and so on. Players should end
up lying in a zigzag formation. Now the first person shouts
"ha!" and the next person answers with "ha ha!".... etc.
Soon everyone loses control and starts laughing hysterically.
Sculpture
Equipment: Blindfolds.
Three people are required with one person blindfolded and another person
takes some shape and stays like that. The person who is blindfolded must
feel the person who is a shape, and must sculpture the third person into that
shape.
Who Am I?
Each person has pinned on his back a picture or name of a famous person.
By asking questions to the other people that can be only answered
"yes" or "no", he must figure out who is on his
back.
Blind Beach Volleyball
Equipment:
Blanket and beach ball A blanket should be
draped over a volley-ball net. The game goes as usual except you can not
see when the ball is coming. Scary!!
Lift the Orange
In each pair the partners (the lady and the gentleman) stand facing each other.
They hold a medium sized orange between their stomachs. The object is to roll
this orange to the chin of the shorter partner by rotary movements.
Pass the Orange
Line up into 2 teams. In each line ladies and gentlemen take their turns. The
first person in each team is given an orange to place under his/her chin. He/she
must pass the orange to the next in line but neither may use his/her hands. The
players can use all the parts of their bodies to pass the ball but it's
forbidden to drop it. The first team to get the ball all the way to the last
person is the winner.
What's in a Song?
Ask the players to recollect and write down several lines of 6 of their favorite
songs. After that, give them the key to the song lyrics.
1. The first song - your feelings after the first kiss
2. The second - your memory of the first night together
3. The third - reminder of your honey moon
4. The fourth - in a year after the marriage
5. The fifth - Now when we are together I think about it
6. The sixth - in 50 years of married life
Heavy Bucket
Put a bucket full of water against the wall. Say that only a very strong man can
lift it. One who wishes to lift the bucket stands at the distance of half a step
from it. Ask this person to take the handle of the bucket with his hands and
lean his head against the wall. Then ask him to lift the bucket, and while
holding it with his hands, draw himself up to a standing position. Despite all
the attempts, this person will not be able to stand straight up. He
will remain as though glued to the wall.
