Summer has arrived, and with it, the thoughts of sunshine and daffodils. Fresh as a field full of daffodils, is this afghan made up of panels in an easy lace pattern, separated by garter stitch rows which add texture. Made on a size 10-1/2 needle, it is an easy and quick project.

Come on in, sit down.
The coffee is hot and the banana bread is in the oven. Make yourself comfortable and I will tell you all about the beautiful afghan you can knit in about a week or less.

SIZE: 41: X 53" before fringing

36" long size 10-1/2 circular needle (or size required for gauge)

14 stitch markers

NOTES

  1. Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of stitches; do not join,

Fringe

Follow Single Knot Fringe instructions below. Cut strands 16" long, and use 2 strands folded in half for each knot. Tie knot through each stitch across each short end of afghan.

Braid yarn from first 3 knots together loosely, knot firmly to fasten, leaving 1" ends. Continue braiding across. Trim ends.
