I went to work every day with my Mom, and watched her make all the customers (dogs) look all spiffy and clean.  I liked going to work with my Mom.  When she was all done with the customers, she would make sure I was all spiffy too.  I would get compliments everywhere I went.  I was a very proud Cocker Spaniel, and I still am.  Even at my ripe old age of 14, I still get compliments.

My parents had another kid at home when I moved in.  Her name was Murphy, but they called her "The Smurf".  She and I were best of friends.  Murphy was 6 years older than I, but she and I had a lot in common, nevertheless.  Murphy turned out to be my lifelong, bestest friend in the whole world.  "The Smurf" passed away a few years ago.  I still miss her very much.

A short time after I moved in, my parents found another kid to adopt.  They picked her up from the Dumb Friends League on a Monday.  They couldn't decide what to name her, so they named her after the day...Monday.  Monday was a black Labrador Retriever.  She was a nice girl when she was a puppy, but something went wrong in her head when she was almost 3 years old.  She went crazy and caused a lot of problems for everyone.  She decided that this was her house and she didn't want "The Smurf" around anymore.  She wanted to be queen of the house.  After my Mom got bit on her hand trying to separate the two of them, and had to take the two girls to the vet for major surgery ($$$), my parents said Monday had to go back to the Dumb Friends League.  I was sorry it all happened that way, but I wasn't sorry to see Monday leave.  She traumatized me and really hurt my best friend.  I hope Monday found a good home.

I was born in Colorado, and lived there for 3 years before moving to New Mexico.  I lived there for almost 3 years before moving to Florida.  I didn't like living in New Mexico because I was allergic to the Russian Thistle.  It would make me itch so bad.  I like Florida very much.  My hair never gets tangles in it here.  It must be the humidity.  I always stay in the air conditioning though, so I'm always cool.  That's me...one "cool dude"!!!

After my best friend went to Rainbow Bridge, I was too scared to stay by myself.  My parents found me a babysitter to stay with.  Her name is Clare.  She loves me very much.  She is the best babysitter in the whole world.  Clare even got me a Florida driver's license, but my eyesight is not very good.  They gave me the license as long as I promised not to drive.  I use it for identification purposes only.  If you would like a driver's license, you can follow this link to http://www.chloecards.com and get one too!  Clare is my bestest friend in the whole world now.  She has other four-legged kids she takes care of too, so I have friends to play with.  My Mom and Dad both work, so I get to go to Clare's house every day!  We go on field trips, we go fishing, and we gather eggs at the farm.  She takes me to a lot of fun places.  I love to go shopping the best.  My two favorite stores are Piglet's Pantry, and  Hobscot.  They're both located in Mt. Dora, FL.  When I need something in a hurry, I stop at Pet Supermarket because it's very close to my house.  They have lots of "free" samples to give away.  If they won't give it to me for free, I just take out my wallet and give them my Visa card or my store gift card.  I always keep my wallet in my backpack for safe keeping.
